I am so excited to share that we've been collaborating with newcomer brand, Brass + Knuckles, to help them with their official Boston Launch!
Erica Kirkwood, owner and interior designer, reached out to me just less than two months ago. She was originally inquiring about my beautiful "space" which I had to break to her, was my home office! Regardless, we spoke on the phone and our philosophies on starting up companies of our own and building a brand and sharing it with the world were both very similar—it all clicked. We met shortly after and that's when I knew I wanted to be a part of her new venture. It was going to be a great opportunity for both of us . . . Note: Find people and brands that align with yours, collaborate, and be willing to help and support one another. These have been some of the best experiences in my first year.
Erica's design aesthetic is evident throughout her thoughtful storytelling of the b+k brand and curation of talented crafts women. She features makers from L.A. and N.Y.C to create "accessories for the modern wilderness". Shield & Honor (sexy, beautiful and admirable), Curious Creatures (I love their new tassel collection), Virginie Millefiori (a French designer in N.Y.C), and Coral & Stone (travel-inspired designs by artist turned jewelry designer, Coralie Reiter) will all be represented at our vanity pop-up! The Brass + Knuckles brand is inspired, vibrant and sprinkled with just the right amount of edgy.
Please join us this Saturday, from 2 to 5:30pm at Acoté Salon 132 Newbury Street. Their outdoor patio is a hidden gem tucked between the brick buildings of Newbury Street and Boylston Street in the Back Bay. Not only is the spot perfect for Brass + Knuckles to launch their newest collection, "Paint the Streets", but it's also a good brand alignment. If you have never been, Acoté is a great salon that pampers their clients with cappuccinos and pastries every day! (Which is the best art of the experience when I go to get my hair done there (!) and it's also the sister salon to Safar) Their salon is energetic and their team is so fun! Alex is always hosting fun events but I think this is one of their first pop-ups! I am so excited to be doing this launch party with them! Thank you, Acoté!
And we are also so thrilled to have Caroline, from Wild Folk Studio, add her floral design touches to our vanity pop-up event! Her work is gorg! Check her out!
Celebrate with a special discount, pre-order sales, prizes and treats. Bash will also be selling too! Look for our custom Bash hair ties and headbands!
