TODAY, I BEAM WITH EXCITEMENT.

With the launch of this brand new shiny website and my first feature in BostInno's "A Day in the Life" by Marian White, I got completely caught up. Which I've found is not difficult to do when you're a one-woman shop that wears all the hats.

I woke up this morning fighting the 3-hour time zone change from Cali and day-light savings. Then somewhere between finding out my website launch was going to be a little delayed and getting on email like rapid fire—I forgot to change out of my pjs. Ok, no big deal—I work from home. But when a combination of these things happen and hours are flying by, a string of not so normal events usually follow. Never getting dressed means I forgot to shower, which means I missed lunch and unfortunately, never brushed my teeth. Ok, that's gross and maybe not something I should be admitting to my fans on my blog but that's the REAL Day in the Life. You do unflattering things to get your business off the ground.

Now given that all those things did end up happening between the 17th and 18th hour, I write about the wave of momentum and positive vibes that surround you when you get an opportunity to relic in the moments that bring you joy. The enormous amount of support from today's milestones uplifted me—even in my pjs. (good thing no one saw me!)

And although I didn't make it to my office, I took a few steps forward today. The countless hours, sleepless nights, and bumps in the road make it the journey completely worth it. You are reminded that owning your own business is a labor of love. And I would get wrapped up in it all over again.

The truth is:
NOTHING ABOUT IT IS EASY, BUT EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS WORTH IT.
